Illustrations
Here are various illustrations I have composed, primarily they are done digitally but some I have added some traditional media to the piece.
Inspired by a route that I used to drive by while living in Japan.
Commissioned by a friend, only request was to use the Chilean Grey Eagle. With this one, I wanted to put the Eagle somewhere outside it's environment. To give it a sense a beauty but to also show it doesn't belong. A feeling I know all to well.
Was commissioned to make a piece by a friend, only request was the use of the Chilean Grey Eagle. I honestly love the beauty and mysteriousness that comes with the universe, and I get a sense of that with every animal I see.
Inspired by IASIP and a former student of mine
Inspired by Childish Gambio's song Redbone. One of many pieces I plan to do inspired by his new album.
My low poly self portrait.
Inspired by the town of Yanai and its famous goldfish lanterns.
I was watching Hotline Bling one day and thought, Drake would look great on this famous Japanese piece.
This piece was done digitally but the characters I used ink. One of my favorite artists (Donald Glover) and my favorite Japanese idiom. 七転八起(shichitenhakki) falling down seven times and getting up eight.
The first in my series of Kanye based pieces. A man whose ego could match Jesus's charity. This is my rendition of Raphael's Christ Blessing.
